HOMAG panel dividing equipment — pioneering solutions for trade and industry
In the panel dividing and storage equipment sector, HOMAG is presenting a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies for perfect cutting and intelligent storage. Visitors can look forward to numerous highlights and innovations that will change woodworking shops and the industry in the long term.
SAWTEQ S-100: Precise, efficient cutting at the price of a circular saw
Lack of space in the workshop — a problem familiar to many woodworking shops. They want to expand, but space is scarce. And even if there is enough space, investments must be thought through in detail. Workshop space, technology and personnel — everything needs to be weighed up. For cutting, the decision is often made between an upright or horizontal saw. At first glance, the upright version seems to have an advantage if there is little space available as it is smaller, cheaper and practical. But is that really true?
Saw like the big players — proven technology in a compact format
With the SAWTEQ S-100, HOMAG offers a horizontal panel saw that can be used in smaller workshops. Designed for woodworking shops that don't want to waste any space, it combines proven HOMAG technology with attractive value for money. The user interface is intuitive and the unprocessed panel can be cut by one person alone.

Saw-storage combination: STORETEQ P-310 storage on the second level, new SAWTEQ S-200 flexTec robot saw and SAWTEQ S-300 saw
Storage systems solve logistical requirements at the start of the process chain — and in every business. Hence, across all levels of production, the flow of material is optimized, stocks are managed transparently and processing machines are used in an optimal way. Together with the new SAWTEQ S-200 flexTec and the SAWTEQ S-300, the system for storage on the second level at LIGNA will show how to carry out order processing fast, flexibly and economically in a very small space.
STORETEQ P-310 storage on the second level — saving space together
Storage on the second level is the efficient solution for increasing storage capacity in a limited space. Instead of building new production halls, the existing hall height is converted into new storage areas in an optimal and resource-saving way. For this purpose, the panels are stored on the second level (above the processing machines).
NEW for all storage systems
Optimal storage efficiency — placement of stacks between the storage system feet
Placing stacks between the storage system feet provides an effective means to increase storage capacity. Depending on the panel sizes, the suction traverse used, the stack orientation and the available space, this may allow additional storage positions to be created in the same room. This efficient use of available space not only improves storage utilization, but also increases productivity.
NEW for all storage systems
Optimal storage efficiency — dynamic rotation ranges of the suction traverse
Different material sizes and suction traverse dimensions require flexible solutions — this is precisely where dynamic rotation ranges come in. The suction traverses measure the panels when they are attached and then adjust the turntable according to their size. This improves the dynamic behavior of the overall machine processes, which leads to shorter cycle times and optimized storage efficiency, especially for small panel sizes.
NEW for all storage systems
Weight-dependent acceleration ramp for rotary and travel drive
The weight-dependent acceleration ramp is an intelligent solution which, through focusing on speed and service life, results in optimum movement processing. The technology achieves efficiency gains by individually adapting acceleration and deceleration to the relevant workpiece and its dimensions. The result: Significantly higher acceleration is achieved for lightweight workpieces, which increases the process speed and reduces the cycle time per movement. At the same time, acceleration of heavy workpieces is specifically reduced – this protects the drive and the storage system from unnecessary wear and extends the service life of the entire system.
